Guide for International Students

The program, the classes and the lectures are in Greek language. International students are eligible to enter the program but they have to prove that they can understand, read and write the Greek language.

According to the internal regulation of the graduate program various categories of candidates can be admitted to our graduate program under special provisions. Two such categories are:

  • a) physical education graduates of E.U. Member States or non E.U. of non-Greek origin.
  • b) other majors’ university graduates of E.U. Member States or non E.U. of non-Greek origin.

In order to enter the program, the candidates have to communicate to the secretariat of the graduate program to get the criteria for their evaluation.

With regard to their registration, the candidates are also required to hold a certificate denoting their command of the Greek language. Such a certificate is issued after relevant examinations either by the University of Athens or by the University of Thessaloniki; alternatively, the candidates should hold a B2 (3rd) level certificate issued by the Greek Language Centre.
