The defense of the postgraduate thesis takes place in the presence of all three members of the counseling-examination committee. The candidate develops his/her Master's thesis for about 20 minutes and then answers the questions and comments of the committee members. The whole process should be completed within 45 minutes. The committee then leaves, deliberates and formulates its final judgment, which takes into account the original content of the postgraduate thesis, its substantial contribution to the progress of science and the quality of its support. The evaluation of the committee is publicly announced to the candidate. For the approval of the postgraduate thesis, the agreement of all three members of the committee is required. In case of disagreement of a member, it must submit its objections in writing within an exclusive deadline of 15 days. In case of disagreement between two members, the candidate is obliged to repeat the procedure at the end of the next semester of study, provided that he/she has not exceeded the maximum expected period of study.
The Master's Thesis, if approved by the examination committee, must be posted on the website of the MSc.
